In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 photo and video applications on iOS in Latin America demonstrated significant performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

CapCut - Video Editor from Bytedance Pte. Ltd saw its weekly revenue rise dramatically, peaking at around $15.9K in the final week of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of about 895K in the same week. Active users also saw a substantial increase, climbing from approximately 1.3M at the start of October to nearly 1.9M by the end of December.

Instagram maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue peaking at around $17.1K in mid-December. Weekly downloads were robust, consistently around the 400K-500K mark, with a notable spike to approximately 475K in the week of December 12. Active users remained stable around 25M, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream by Google had the highest weekly revenue among the top apps, reaching over $1.4M in late October. Weekly downloads showed a notable peak of about 565K in the last week of December. Active users remained exceptionally high, averaging around 67M throughout the quarter.

Google Photos: Backup & Edit also from Google, maintained steady weekly revenue, peaking at around $171K in late November. Weekly downloads saw a gradual increase, peaking at about 190K in the final week of December. Active users showed a slight upward trend, reaching approximately 2.6M by the end of December.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor from Canva saw a peak weekly revenue of around $284K in late October. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at about 135K in early November. Active users saw a slight increase, peaking at approximately 1.9M in late November before slightly declining towards the end of December.
